Teaterallén 114 is a group home within disability care that has been in operation since 2019. The home is home to 6 young active users with different functional variations, they live in their own apartments and share common areas. The goal is to support the users to independence. We are now looking for a support assistant, preferably with experience of working with individuals with various intellectual disabilities. Particularly meritorious is if you have knowledge of NPF diagnoses. Work tasks You guide and support people with physical, mental and intellectual disabilities in their everyday lives. You work in a long-term and goal-oriented manner to create a safe home environment and a meaningful everyday life for our users. Your approach is characterized by flexibility, continuity and security. You offer individual, social and practical support to make use of and develop the person's own abilities. The work at Teaterallén 114 will include documentation, as well as following up and evaluating the work both individually and together with others. We place high demands on the ability to establish and maintain an agreed structure in the business. The work involves a lot of physical activity in the form of exercise at the gym, walking, cycling and swimming as well as activities that include singing and music. About you We are looking for you who are a trained nurse, social worker or have another education that the employer considers equivalent. We would like to see that you have experience of the field of intellectual disabilities and of low-effective treatment. Experience of educational work with visual aids and signs as support, as well as knowledge of NPF diagnoses is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You have a good ability to cooperate and have a professional approach to users, relatives and other actors. You are committed and have a willingness to share our values and work towards set goals and continuous improvements. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
