Your work tasks As a support educator, you will guide and support people with mental and neuropsychiatric disabilities in their everyday lives. The support educator will be a role model for the staff in the educational work regarding the user's care and leisure. You guide other staff to pedagogical solutions to challenges in the user-related work, by applying different pedagogical models. Furthermore, you implement and evaluate different types of alternative and complementary communication in the individual work around the user. An important part of the work is to support the work with documentation and implementation plans and to work goal-oriented with individual implementation plans to increase goal achievement. You will work on planning, executing, documenting, following up and evaluating individually and together with others. You are also expected to create and maintain structure to reduce the risk of threats and violence. You are solution-focused and good at communicating with both colleagues and manager. The support educator participates in current network meetings and plans and leads with the unit manager user follow-up in the business. About you We are looking for you who are a trained support educator or who have read 60 HP in relevant courses towards disability care. We would like to see that you have work experience in disability care. It is an advantage if you have experience of positive behavioral support, low-effective treatment and alternative and complementary communication, AAC. Welcome with your application!
