Myntagården is a preparatory work training center with a focus on personal development, promoting well-being and independence. The unit consists of several large activity rooms, rest rooms and social areas. Activities are based on animal husbandry, cultivation, property maintenance and movement with the opportunity to try fine motor skills. We cooperate with clients, relatives and other external actors. Your tasks Your main tasks as a support educator are to plan, structure, support, supervise, develop assignments and tasks based on the individual's need for a meaningful daily activity. The aim is for the activities to create the conditions for independence for the participant. You will work with continuous improvements within the quality perspective regarding pedagogical methods and communication, documentation and introduction in the activities. Your working methods should be characterized by flexibility, continuity and security. The work also largely consists of leading and distributing assignments to participants. In your role, you will motivate and strengthen the participant's ability towards an independent life. The business works with the methods Supported Employment (SE) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). The role of support educator includes documentation through record keeping and the preparation and follow-up of implementation plans. As a support educator, you are part of a network with other support educators where we offer continuous peer support and skills development. Working hours are during the day, but there may be work in the evenings and weekends. Co-planning may take place between our operations. About you We are looking for you who are a trained support educator, support assistant, social educator, social worker or have another behavioral education that is considered equivalent, for example, relevant education in either pedagogy, social work or health and care with a focus on disabilities and psychiatry. You should have a great deal of commitment and the desire to be involved in developing the business. You are solution-focused and good at communicating and interacting with all roles that you meet in your everyday life. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. To succeed in the role, you need to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written. You should also be confident in working with digital tools, as documentation, planning and collaboration take place via computer-based support systems. The position requires a B-driving license. Meritorious: Experience of working in LSS, especially with people with intellectual disabilities, mental disabilities, neuropsychiatric diagnoses or mental illness Knowledge and experience of managing challenging behaviors Experience of working methods such as low-effective treatment and clarifying pedagogy Experience of Supported Employment (SE), motivational interviewing (MI) As there are furry animals in the workplace, you should not be allergic.
