We are now looking for a support educator for the Sandviksvägen/Svedbergsgatan group homes in Holmsund. The business is aimed at adults with different functional variations who have been granted housing according to LSS. As an employee in the business, you, together with your colleagues, have the important role of working for individually adapted support to create a predictable, safe and meaningful existence. We are now looking for a support educator for our operations in Holmsund. Is this you? Your work tasks As a support educator, you have in-depth knowledge and specialist expertise in the field. You work both with practical interventions and also have a complementary mission to guide, quality assure and support your colleagues in the work with social documentation, implementation plans and the application of the National Board of Health and Welfare's recommended working methods. You work on behalf of your manager and the assignments may vary over time depending on the needs of the activities. As a support educator, you will be part of a network of other support educators, in which you are offered collegial support and skills development. In order to be able to communicate, document and obtain medication, good knowledge of Swedish is required in both speech and writing. Scheduled working hours are day, evening and weekend. About you You are confident in your professional role and have a professional approach. Your good communication skills mean that you work well with both users, relatives and colleagues. We are looking for someone who sees and meets each individual based on their unique conditions and needs. To succeed in the role, you need to be positive, flexible and committed. You enjoy working in a changing environment and strive for continuous improvement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Requirements: Post-secondary education in the form of at least 200YH credits, support educator or other equivalent YH education. Alternatively 60 HP relevant courses towards disability care. Programs and/or courses with a clear focus on working with intellectual, cognitive and mental disabilities. For example: Ethical approaches. Pedagogical theories and methods. Alternative and augmentative communication cognitive support Coaching approaches. A few years of experience working with people with disabilities or other work experience that we consider equivalent.
