Umeå municipality is growing, and so is the municipal land surveying authority (KLM). We are looking for an employee for Lantmäteri and the municipal land surveying authority. As a land surveyor in Norrland's largest city, in addition to being a decision-maker in land surveys, you will also contribute with your real estate law expertise in community building and development projects. KLM currently has about 14 employees, 11 of whom are surveyors with different backgrounds and skills. KLM is a separate authority and is organized within the municipality of Umeå in the urban planning administration and the Lantmäteri department. Lantmäteri consists of GIS, Geodesy, Geographic Data and KLM. In total, about 36 employees work in the department. Your work tasks During your working day with us, you will work with varying types of land surveys, ranging from the development of new residential areas, rights of way, infrastructure projects to the formation of community facilities. You will also provide advice on property law in connection with the authority's areas of responsibility. The municipal land surveying authority in Umeå has an active role in the detailed planning process, is close to other municipal activities and is thus in the middle of the community building process. About you We are looking for you who have a civil engineering degree / university engineering degree in surveying or urban planning, legal education with a focus on real estate law or equivalent skills acquired in another way. We would like to see that you have experience from municipal or state land surveying authorities and have also worked with various survey measures. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. You will be given considerable responsibility based on the requirements of the post.
