At the permit unit for transport services and parking permits for the disabled, we contribute by enabling mobility and accessibility for residents with special needs. We are now looking for a transport service consultant who wants to make a difference! Your work tasks As a transport service consultant, you have an important role where you work with the exercise of authority. You will be responsible for: Investigating and making decisions on individuals' entitlement to municipal transport services, national transport services and parking permits for the disabled, in accordance with current legislation, local rules and practices. Review documents received and, if necessary, conduct telephone interviews with applicants. In case of appeals, provide statements as a basis for further consideration. In addition to exercising authority, you will cooperate with various actors both inside and outside the organization: Inform the public and stakeholders about rules and processes. Participate in procurement, contract monitoring and training for contractors to ensure compliance with contracts. Contribute to the quality of our services and the development of our activities. The work is autonomous, but you will always have support from colleagues when needed. Administrative tasks related to the business are also part of the job. About you We are looking for you who: Have a university degree of at least three years in a field relevant to the position. Have experience of exercising authority and preferably knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act, the Local Government Act and the Freedom of Information and Secrecy Act. Have a very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Is used to working in IT systems and has good knowledge of Office 365. Experience of public transport, travel planning or working in the public sector, as well as experience of speaking in front of groups, would be an advantage. You enjoy working as part of a team and sharing responsibilities with colleagues, while independently driving your work forward. You are a self-starter and actively contribute to the development of the business. We value your ability to listen to others and understand different perspectives and situations. You contribute to a positive team spirit and have a professional and respectful approach. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. A B driving license is required for the position.
