Individual and family care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction.
Bryggan is a support home for men over 20 with alcohol and/or drug problems.
We are a 24-hour operation that is combined with outpatient care or employment. There is an ambition in Bryggan's structure to use environmental therapeutic strategies. This means that participants either learn or re-learn social and practical skills through daily activities and everyday chores together with staff and with other residents.
The focus of the client work is the individual's goals, with addiction as the central issue. Mental illness is a common feature among our clients.
Your work tasks
As a treatment assistant with us, we work with the individual in focus and support an independent life based on an agreed individual planning. The business is characterized by flexible solutions where clients' needs and current situation are the starting point.
The work tasks also include cleaning and cooking. The working hours are day, evening, weekend and night shifts; on-call according to local agreement.
