Our organization is responsible for developing the municipality's capacity for digital transformation with broad expertise. We have leaders, system developers, architects and specialists in IT and digitization who drive and hold together the municipality's journey into the future. It is a meaningful and developing mission that we are proud to have. We have around 100 sharp employees who care about job satisfaction and community.
About the job
As a unit manager, together with team leaders, product owners and process managers, you lead a number of employees in an organization that embraces change. You work closely with the various leaders of the business to facilitate work and constantly coach our teams and employees towards curiosity and change. Your focus revolves around people management and unlocking employee potential, which includes:
Leading and coaching employees in constant change

Developing employees' skills and capabilities
Removing barriers for teams and employees
As a Head of Unit, you will work with specialists in our operations. You will have the opportunity to learn a lot from our staff and colleagues in these areas:
Agile teams and product development
Systems development and management
IT architecture and cybersecurity
Service desk and client management
Network and server operations
About you
We are looking for you with a higher post-secondary education and several years of experience in management roles. You will lead employees in areas with an ever-increasing pace of development. Experience in one or more of these areas is an advantage:

We believe that applicants for this position are courageous and want to develop. You are responsive and have the ability to see other people's potential. You are driven by coaching employees to surpass themselves (and even you). Through good social skills and respectful treatment, you create a good climate of cooperation and mutual trust. You are structured and can maintain order when needed, and have a good sense of when it would be better to change or get rid of a limiting structure. You have good communication skills and know both Swedish and English to a good level, both in speech and writing.
Through thoughtful listening and courageous communication, you will help our employees and our organization grow. The transition that our municipality (and the whole of society) is facing involves a lot that is unexplored or needs to be questioned. In what we do, all the answers will not be available in advance, and a lot will be unclear.
