The adult education department in Umeå municipality is responsible for issues relating to study and vocational guidance and adult education. Education is provided both in-house and through procured providers. Adult education offers studies in SFI, basic and general courses, vocational training and special adult education at basic and upper secondary level. Umevux is now looking for a teacher of Swedish as a second language and English. Your work tasks As a teacher of Swedish as a second language and English equivalent to upper secondary level, you will teach adult students at Umevux. You will teach both students on site at the school and students who choose to study at a distance. About you For this position, we are looking for you who are a qualified upper secondary school teacher with authorization to teach Swedish as a second language and English. You have or have applied for a teaching license. You have very good experience of digital tools in teaching and have a good ability to individualize and follow up teaching based on students' needs. You are an inspiring teacher with the ability to create structure, context and good relationships. It would be an advantage if you have experience of teaching adult students.
