About us

The Instrument Maintenance unit conducts preventive, corrective maintenance and component replacements. The activities consist mainly of maintenance of component and system functions in the plants' protection, process and service systems. We are also an important part of the project and change activities at the plants.

About the job

Now we offer several technology-related services within Ringhals instrument maintenance. Your tasks at instrument maintenance:

  • Calibration, troubleshooting and repair of entire signal chains from sensors to control systems within activity monitoring, radiation protection instrumentation and turbine systems.
  • Planning, follow-up and documentation of your work

Work with activity monitoring, radiation protection instrumentation and turbine systems takes place in the plant. You perform testing, preventive and corrective maintenance both on field equipment in pressure, temperature, electrical quantities, moisture and activity and in our control systems that include hardware such as PLC, I/O modules, switches, servers and software Windows server, Vmware, ESXI environments.

The work is done in close collaboration with maintenance engineers. At instrument maintenance, we strive for the spread of competence and commitment. Most of the work takes place in your technical area on support or turbine systems, but you will also work in other technical areas as needed.

Requirement specification

We believe that you are relatively newly educated in the field and have studied an education with a focus on electricity, control, rules, technology or data at secondary school level or equivalent. Basic knowledge (technical focus) you have gained through your education and if you have a willingness to learn, there are good opportunities to develop and grow in your role here with us.

We see that you are a person who thrives on variety in everyday life because the needs of the business, and therefore also your tasks, can change quickly. You like to take responsibility for your own tasks and have the ability to plan and structure your day yourself. Cooperation and contact with colleagues, both within and outside your own group, is one of the cornerstones of this role, so we consider you to be a team player. You also need to have very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both in speech and writing.
