About the role
The Project & Technology Department has an important and responsible mission, which is to develop methodology for and manage the nuclear waste arising from Sweden's early nuclear research programs. This includes three specialized units; Radiophysics & Development, Waste Technology & Investigation and Projects & Coordination.
We are now looking for a Business Analyst for the Projects & Technology department. About the role
As a Business Analyst at Projects & Technology, you will be the link between our customers and our technical organization. Your main task will be to understand and translate customer needs into practical solutions within SVALA, while supporting the continuous development of the system. SVALA is an IT system designed to support waste management and decommissioning in the nuclear industry and industries generating radioactive waste. You will:

Requirement specification
To thrive and succeed in the role of Business Analyst, we see that you have:
Experience from a government-regulated industry or system management is meritorious. Experience in nuclear or radio physics is a bonus, but not a requirement.

To succeed as a Business Analyst, you are analytical, collaborative, communicative and strongly self-driven. You are strategic and able to manage complex information to find solutions that support both customers and the organization. By understanding the customer's perspective, you can translate their needs into tangible improvements and present them clearly.
Your ability to collaborate and communicate is essential to the role. You have the ability to build relationships and align work towards different goals as organizations and groups use SVALA based on both common and specific needs. You have good communication skills and a pedagogical streak that allows you to explain complex systems and processes in an easy-to-understand way.
Finally, you are driven and actively seek new development opportunities. You dare to take initiatives, suggest improvements and work independently with a holistic perspective - which is important in the management of SVALA.
