We are now looking for an Operations Developer for the Operations & Maintenance Support department

The Operations & Maintenance Support department has an overall supporting function in operations and system development for the other operational departments within the unit. We are a group with a wide range of specialized skills where everyone collaborates and develops each other. Together with us, you will have the opportunity to influence both your own work and the future of Vattenfall Eldistribution.

The role of Operations Developer

In the role of Operations Developer, you will have an important task in driving and coordinating operational improvements in the departments under the Operations & Maintenance unit. You will act as a bridge between the operational activities and run both small and large projects that streamline operations. Your main tasks will include, among other things:

• Be cohesive in ideas that come from our improvement portal
• Work closely with process developers
• Drive operational projects, such as system projects
• Write instructions
• Participate in the strategic work within the department

Travel occurs in the service. Mainly to Trollhättan as the majority of those we support are stationed there.

Requirements

We are looking for you who are passionate about developing our business and driving improvement projects. As you will be cohesive in projects with several different employees, it is important that you are sensitive to different views while driving the process forward from idea to practice. You have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with others towards a common goal. This is of great importance in order to get the best results from the combined expertise within the unit in your projects. We also look for someone who can work effectively even when the way forward is not obvious. We have clear goals for where we want to go, but the way there is not always obvious and conditions can change over time.

We know that you will develop with us. But for this position, you are required to already have:

• An academic education in electric power, energy and/or several years of relevant equivalent work experience
• Experience working in projects and managing internal and external resources
• Experience and knowledge of projects and process development
• Work experience in the energy industry, preferably in operation and maintenance
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement. English is meritorious
