About the role

Then the Asset IT Project Management & Consultancy team at Vattenfall IT is looking for you!
As a business specialized IT project manager towards Vattenfall, you will gain knowledge of their operations and that will be your unique superpower. You will work closely with the core business to enable knowledge transfer and ensure the close connection to business processes and know-how. You will work on some of our most important IT projects that enable business processes using IT systems and part of your focus will be infrastructure and IT security components. But above all, you are a great project manager who takes your project team towards the goal together.
You will be part of Vattenfall's international IT organization and work in the Asset IT Project Management & Consultancy team. We are located in Amsterdam, Kolding, Stockholm and also in Luleå. We work closely with the business areas that produce and distribute electricity, where our team supports in their most complex and strategic IT projects.
You will independently lead projects according to VPGP (Vattenfall's project model). One of your strong qualities will be that you have knowledge of how Vattenfall Power or Electricity Distribution runs their projects according to Vattenfall's project model and be able to weave this together with how Vattenfall IT runs their projects. You will also gain an exciting insight into the business processes of the respective business units and be able to apply it in the projects. Many of the projects and requirements documents are documented in Swedish.
The deep technical knowledge is with the project members but you use your experience in IT and understanding of how IT systems and technology can be used to drive the projects forward. As our business is spread across the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Denmark and Sweden so it is important that you can engage a geographically dispersed project team.
