About the role

We are looking for someone who wants to be involved in the management of payments. Cash and Credit Management, part of Business Support & Compliance within Customer Service Nordic in Umeå is now looking for a Cash Management Specialist to join the team.

We offer you the opportunity to work with incoming and outgoing payments together with colleagues in the team as a common area of responsibility. Within our team we work closely together and support each other. You will take great responsibility for handling payments but also for your own development, which means that you as an applicant want to step in with 100% commitment, great initiative with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role involves participating in various projects as well as regular line work, which means that you are expected to be able to communicate with customers both in writing and via inbound and outbound calls.

Main tasks of the job

The Cash Management Specialist's mission is to manage payments and to support the business in order to achieve the business plan's set strategies and objectives by:

  • Administering cash receipts and payments.
  • Professionally addressing and supporting internal operations for training purposes.
  • Managing and administering direct debit payments.
  • Continuously coming up with improvement initiatives and solutions to develop and streamline our ways of working and participating in projects.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have

  • Several years of work experience and with knowledge of payments, credit management or accounting
  • System knowledge and experience of SAP (CRM/ISU) and Corporate Netbank (Nordea)
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

You as a person

We are looking for you who have a holistic approach and a good understanding of the needs of the business. You have knowledge of and enjoy a structured and solution-oriented approach and have good analytical skills. You are responsible and used to taking your own initiatives. Collaboration with colleagues and other units is an important part of the role, and good cooperation and communication skills are essential for success.

Terms of employment: The permanent position is 100% with placement at Vattenfall's office in Umeå starting as soon as possible.
