About the role

Within VB Elnät, we are today 28 employees who together accelerate our digital transformation, test and implement new technologies that contribute to increased security of supply and quality of supply for our customers. We are in a growth phase to meet our customers' needs and contribute to the energy transition and we are now looking for a connection engineer. Do you want to be part of our journey?

Your tasks

The position suits you who like to handle challenges at the intersection of technology, customer and society.

As a connection engineer, you have a crucial role in ensuring a smooth process from customer request to completion. You will have the opportunity to work independently while working closely with colleagues, customers, installers and contractors on connection issues. This is a varied and exciting role that requires you to have good structure and be energized by managing customer dialogues. You will have a key role in the customer's experience and in ensuring that we are perceived as an enabler of sustainable development in society.

Requirement specification

• A minimum of a completed 3-year upper secondary education in electricity or with a technical focus.
• A degree as either a civil engineer, university engineer or a YH degree with a focus on electrical power/energy technology is advantageous.
• It is important that you communicate fluently in Swedish and have a good knowledge of English.
• Good computer and system skills are a requirement as a large part of the work is done in various IT systems.
• Work experience from the electric power industry or as an electrician/industrial electrician is an advantage. Preferably in high and medium voltage.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities as well and would like you to be someone who feels a strong personal responsibility for your tasks and commitment. As there are many different cases going on at the same time, it is important that you are flexible to changing needs, take initiative and can handle several different tasks at the same time by keeping a good structure in your work. You are driven by problem solving and are used to taking your own initiatives to drive your work forward and get things done. As the contact network in the role is wide, both internally and externally, we would like you to have an easy time communicating and collaborating with others.
