Vattenfall Customer Service Nordic is responsible for sales, billing and customer service via traditional and digital channels for Vattenfall customers in the Nordic region. About the role

Right now we are looking for people who want to work in the role of Customer Communicator at Vattenfall's customer service in Umeå! In the role of Customer Communicator, the work is about calling customers and creating significant and memorable customer experiences through your way of communicating. You will act as an ambassador for Vattenfall by creating first-class customer experiences for Vattenfall's customers, mainly over the phone. You will actively work with needs analysis and upselling of Vattenfall's products that all contribute to a fossil-free future through outbound calls to existing customers.

You will work in a team where both you and the team work towards clearly set goals. The working hours are office hours between 09:45-19:00, Monday to Thursday and 09:00-14:00 on Fridays.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about Vattenfall's business and how the energy industry works. At Vattenfall, you will receive a solid education, which means that you do not need to be an expert in energy to apply for the job. The training alternates between theory and practice with the aim that after completing the training, you will feel confident in handling the customer cases that you will work with.

Who are you?

We see that you are a positive person who loves talking to customers and sees sales as a natural part of the customer meeting. Furthermore, we see that you thrive with and enjoy working goal and result-oriented. We take for granted that you are a communicative, open and social person who listens actively and is keen to give customers the best possible experience. It is not a requirement but a merit if you have experience in anti-churn activities and if you are fluent in languages, in addition to Swedish and English.

To be relevant for this position, we see that you

  • Are energized by listening to customer needs to identify and offer the best solutions for the customer.
  • Have experience in outbound sales.
  • Have very good computer skills.
  • Communicate fluently in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English.
  • Have full secondary school qualifications or equivalent acquired skills.


Additional information

Location: Umeå. Work is carried out from the office but should the need arise, there is the possibility to work from home.

Working hours: Office hours between 09:45-19:00, Monday to Thursday and 09:00-14:00 on Fridays.

Scope: Permanent position

Salary type: Fixed + commission
