About the role

Are you ready for a new challenge and want to work with the development of process technology systems at Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant? Would you like to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?

Forsmarks Kraftgrupp is now looking for a development engineer in process technology who wants to help secure Sweden's long-term electricity supply. We are facing a growing need both now and in the future - this is your chance to make a difference!

As a development engineer, you will be an important part of our close-knit group of about 15 people. You will develop a broad process engineering knowledge and work with improvements that strengthen Forsmark's plants and contribute to a sustainable, fossil-free production.

In the role, you will have a wide variety of tasks and work closely with colleagues in several departments.

Your main tasks:

  • Identify and implement rebuilds in the plants' process engineering systems based on requirements and design conditions.
  • Act as technical support and carry out investigations for the operation and maintenance departments.
  • Develop technical documentation for operation and maintenance instructions.
  • Work with technical procurement documents and participate in supplier contacts.
  • Share experiences and lessons learned to contribute to the development of the business and colleagues

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

  • Civil or university engineering degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, energy systems/energy technology, process chemistry or other equivalent experience.
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement, as all internal communication is in Swedish.
  • Good knowledge of English for contact with suppliers and international colleagues.

Experience from the nuclear power industry or the process industry is meritorious.

As a person, you are communicative and collaborative with the ability to build good relationships both internally and externally. You are solution-focused and see opportunities in the challenges you face, while being proactive and determined. Location Forsmark.

Buses to and from Forsmark are adapted to the working hours of daytime staff. We also offer work buses with wireless network on the Gävle-Forsmark and Uppsala-Forsmark routes, which gives you the opportunity to use the travel time as working time if/when work allows. You also have the opportunity to use our remote workplaces in Gävle and Uppsala or work from home if/when work allows.
