About the role

If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to grow in your career and want to be involved in developing Ringhals information management and associated IT systems, then Ringhals technology department may be right for you! Together, we will lead and coordinate this change journey to ensure that the change is effective and that we achieve our digitization goal. As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the functional management of our facilities' data registers, which means that you will have a varied and instructive job where operational tasks are interspersed with strategic issues.

Duties

• Lead the management and development of functionality in data registers for components and materials.
• Requirements and requirements fulfillment as well as configuration and functional tests of data registers.
• Participate in the development and management of defined structure (information model).
• Participate in the development and implementation of a new information management system through needs identification, requirements management, work process development, training, etc.

Requirement specification

We believe that you are a committed and solution-oriented person who thrives in a role with many contact surfaces, where relationship building is a natural part of your work. In the position, you lead process development from a long-term holistic perspective and have a close dialog with different parts of the business and our IT supplier. We believe that you are an analytical person and have the ability to work systematically, with quality and safety in focus.

We also prefer that you have:

• Academic education in information or computer technology or equivalent knowledge in another way.
• Experience working with PDM/PLM in construction or maintenance operations (eg. Teamcenter, OpenText, SAP DMS).
• Experience in business development, such as major implementation and change projects.
• Knowledge of translating complex business needs into technical requirements.

Location
