About the role

As Digital Business Developer, you are responsible for driving through and implementing digital strategies and processes that optimize and streamline digital external and internal communication. You act as a bridge between the communication department and other departments. You will work in cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions and approaches that develop the customer experience, our channels, internal ways of working, content distribution and digital communication. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, tactical know-how and change management. You have a customer-centric mindset, a strong data-driven ability and a passion for continuously improving Vattenfall Electricity Distribution's digital presence and the way we work in the communication department within customer and change communication.

Examples of responsibilities

  • Digital communication strategy: Develop and implement digital communication strategies that support the overall goals of the business.
  • Business analysis: Identify and implement improvements by analyzing current processes, workflows and ways of working.
  • Change Management: Support the organization through digital transformation initiatives in digital communications and new technologies, including driving projects and training employees in new digital ways of working.
  • Process Optimization: Implement digital tools and processes that improve efficiency, productivity and quality within the business.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you build partnerships and collaborate with others to achieve common goals. You have the ability to connect with diverse groups of people and package communications to sell concepts and ideas. You have the ability to bring about change in both the short and long term. You know the best and most effective ways to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. Furthermore, you are driven by implementing new solutions from idea to finished solution and dare to challenge the status quo. As a person, you are also self-driven and initiative-taking, taking responsibility for projects and delivering results.

  • Relevant university education in digital business development, digital communication, content marketing or other related function.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital business development, digital marketing, content marketing or similar roles with a focus on digital transformation and digital communication.
  • Documented experience of running projects in digitalization, with strong planning and implementation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence different stakeholders in the organization.
  • Ability to identify business challenges and find creative solutions.
  • Strong understanding of business models and how digital solutions can create value for both customers and the business.
