About the role

We are growing and are now looking for employees with expertise in high voltage, control plant and/or testing for several of our departments. Depending on your background and experience, there is the opportunity to work with one of the following;

Station technician in projects or maintenance

• Electrical assembly work with the construction of regional and main grid stations as well as electrical installations in the electricity network and industry. Voltage level 0.4-400 kV
• Maintenance and troubleshooting in high-voltage substations and industry. Voltage level 0.4-400 kV

Travel is a natural part of the work as a station technician but can vary in length depending on the assignment. In some assignments we sleep away Monday-Thursday and work in Friday while other assignments vary more.

Control system and communication

At Vattenfall Services, we have a technology business that supports the rest of the business where we are currently about 170 engineers spread throughout the country. This provides access to a broad skills base and we work actively with training to broaden and deepen our knowledge. We are now looking for engineers with knowledge in;

• Relay protection testing
• Electrical design
• Commissioning/testing
• RTU maintenance and configuration
• OPTO

Travel with overnight stays occurs as a natural part of the work as an engineer but can vary in length depending on the assignment.

Requirements

For the role of station engineer, we are looking for you who have;

• Work experience in the electrical or electric power field, for example as an industrial electrician
• Experience in high voltage we see as a plus

For roles in control plant, we are looking for you who have;

• Knowledge of electric power plants, we see it as a plus if you have worked with control plants within 0.4-400 kV
• Experience in electrical construction
• Knowledge of relay protection
• Knowledge of relay protection configuration is a plus

For roles in communications, we are looking for you who have;

• Experience of work in telecommunications or electric power
• Experience of RTU:er, OPTO, radio, Rakel and other remote communication

As a person, you are committed and always there for your colleagues. You like to provide service and take great personal responsibility. Furthermore, you have a high safety mindset. For all positions, it is a requirement that you have a B driving license and communicate fluently in Swedish.
