About the role

At Vattenfall, we have decided to build a future where everyone can choose fossil-free ways of transporting, producing and living. Vattenfall Värme in Nyköping is now looking for an Electrical Power Technician who wants to be involved in influencing tomorrow's climate-smart society.

About the role

Vattenfall Värme in Nyköping operates the Idbäcksverket combined heat and power plant. We supply about 95 percent of the residents of central Nyköping with heat and electricity and contribute to the municipality's sustainability goals by promoting renewable heating and reducing the use of fossil oil. As an Electric Power Technician with us, you will have an important role in our maintenance work by maintaining a safe plant with good operating conditions and high availability.

You will be responsible for:

  • Short and long-term maintenance planning for electrical power
  • Practical daily electrical maintenance (FU/AU)
  • Insurance issues
  • Project work

You will belong to a competent team of 9 people but will also collaborate with other groups at the plant, such as Operations and Safety/Health.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical training in electrical power or electrical engineering.
  • Several years of experience working with electrical power.
  • Good knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
  • Experience of project work and collaboration with other professional groups.
  • Driving license B is required.
