About the role

We are looking for electrical power engineers for Forsmark Power Group!"


As an electrical power engineer in high and low voltage, you are responsible for the design of electrical power systems. You will work on design assignments in both large and small projects in the areas of relay protection, transformers, generators, power electronics, batteries, switchgear, frequency converters and electric motors. You will have the chance to take on exciting challenges and problem solving in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and you will be offered a varied and challenging job where you work both independently and as a valuable part of a team.

Many of our projects involve close collaboration with colleagues from different areas of expertise, giving you a broad holistic understanding and the opportunity to contribute your expertise in cross-functional teams. You will play a central role in project execution, supporting assembly, testing and commissioning, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

To help you get into the role in the best possible way, we offer a mentorship/adventure, where you get support and guidance from experienced colleagues. We also offer a broad training program and internship opportunities in other units to broaden your skills and develop in your role.

Your tasks

  • Develop design documentation for new technical solutions in our plant modifications
  • Write dimensioning and calculation reports
  • Work with technical requirements in procurement documents and participate in supplier contacts
  • Be technical support for the operations and maintenance departments in the event of, for example, disruptions in the plant

Requirements

We would like you to have:

  • Civil or university education in the field of technology, preferably in electrical power engineering or upper secondary education with work experience in the field of technology.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience of work in nuclear operations.
  • Experience of work as an electrical designer.
