About the role

Distribution electrician in service and maintenance and projects

We need more energy heroes and we are now looking for Distribution Electricians who want to join the journey towards a fossil-free life! Is this you? As a Distribution Electrician you will work in our large service agreements with maintenance, service and troubleshooting and you can also work with new construction and projects. We work with both overhead and underground cable networks and within different voltage levels, 0.4-40kv. Depending on your level of experience, you may also lead and be responsible for borrowed staff and subcontractors in the role of electrical safety manager.

In addition to the technical work, these are also some of your main tasks:

• Document and inform about the progress of the work
• Contribute to safe work in the field for you and your colleagues

Travel, outdoor work and high-altitude work are a natural part of the work as a Distribution Electrician. Service work requires daily travel within the immediate geography, longer trips may occur. Emergency preparedness may also be included.

Requirements specification

As a Distribution Electrician with us, you are the company's most important asset for the work performed in the field. We are therefore looking for you who are committed and who are always there for your colleagues. You are motivated by offering service and quality to your colleagues and customers and you always act in a businesslike manner in your work.

Independence is a big part of the work and is an important part of being able to move the work forward. We are therefore looking for you who take responsibility and have a great commitment to your assignments. You would never let profitability take precedence over safety.

With us at Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first and that means that we must have an accepting work climate. We are there for each other and we learn from each other's mistakes. When you join us, there is always a mentorship. Depending on your level of experience, the length and amount of mentoring will vary.

We know that you will grow with us. But we would like to see that you already have:

• A completed secondary education or higher, in electricity, electrical power, technology or other relevant field.
• Work experience in the field of electricity or electric power or overall electrical knowledge is meritorious
• Experience from the construction industry is meritorious
• Computer skills (Office package)
• B-driving license as travel in the service occurs
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing. English is meritorious
