About the role

We need more energy heroes and now we are looking for Electric Power Technicians Local Networks who want to join the journey towards a fossil-free life! Is this you? As an Electrical Power Technician, you will work with fault correction, remodeling and new construction within 0.4-24 kV. It can be about service changes, new construction or reinforcements of existing networks. Maintenance jobs such as pole replacements are also included in the service.

In addition to the technical work, these are also some of your main tasks:

• Maintain a close dialogue with the department's project manager and the network company's customer and operations center
• Document, inform about the progress of the work to the supervisor and report on the work done
• Active contribution to the fact that together we create Sweden's safest workplace by performing safe work in the field for you and your colleagues

Travel is a natural part of the work as an Electric Power Technician. Service work requires daily travel within the nearest geography, in special events longer trips may occur.

We work outside in all weathers, the working days are varied with great freedom under responsibility and there are good opportunities to develop within the role and within the company.

Requirements specification

As an Electrical Power Technician with us, you are the company's most important asset for the work performed in the field. We are therefore looking for you who are committed and who are always there for your colleagues. You are motivated by offering service and quality to your colleagues and customers and you always act in a businesslike manner in your work.

Independence is a big part of the work and is an important part of being able to move the work forward. We are therefore looking for you who take responsibility and have a great commitment to your assignments. You would never let profitability come before safety. With us at Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first!

We know that you will develop together with us. But we would like to see that you already have:

• A completed secondary education or higher, in electricity, electric power, technology or other relevant field.
• Work experience in the field of electricity or electric power or overall electrical knowledge is meritorious
• Experience from the construction industry is meritorious
• Computer skills (Office package)
• B-driving license as travel in the service occurs
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing. English is meritorious

In addition to this, you should have an interest in technology and not be afraid of high heights as the work involves climbing masts and poles.
