Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Now Vattenfall Vattenkraft is looking for electricians for our maintenance team in Bispgården! In this position, you will work with electrical-technical maintenance and projects at hydropower plants. You will be part of a maintenance group based in Bispgården. The group includes electricians, mechanics, alarm technicians, storage technicians, team leaders and managers.

We work with supervision, preventive maintenance and rebuilding projects at Vattenfall Vattenkraft's plants along the Indalsälven and Ångermanälven rivers. As an electrician, you will mainly work with electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installation work, inspections, preventive maintenance and some projects.

Example of responsibilities/tasks:

  • Installations, repairs and servicing
  • Active participation in the planning and preparation of both maintenance and project work and responsibility for smaller projects
  • Participate in overhauls/shutdowns together with mechanics, production technicians and contractors
  • Analyze and report faults or defects, write messages in the maintenance system (SAP)
  • Work to develop working methods so that the work is carried out safely and efficiently with correct risk assessments
  • We would like you to be able to take on a role as a lead fitter in the future.

Requirements specification

You have secondary or post-secondary education in electricity. It is an advantage if you have experience of working with electrical maintenance in hydropower plants or similar industrial operations. We would like to see that you have experience of instrumentation and handling of measured values.

You have a good IT habit, good knowledge of Swedish and English and a B driving license. Travel and overnight stays in the service will be included.

Safety in the workplace is number one, you need to be an attentive and confident colleague who thrives on working in teams. You take great responsibility for ensuring that the work is done efficiently under safe conditions with ongoing risk observations.
