About the role

Cash and Credit Management belongs to Business Support & Compliance within Customer Service Nordic in Umeå, takes over Vattenfall Electricity Distribution's customer ledger and thus needs to expand its team with new colleagues who want to be involved in driving the future of invoicing and claims management.

As an Energy Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tasks within invoicing and claims, mainly within B2C and within B2B in the SAP system.

The Cash and Credit Management team works closely together and supports each other. You will take great responsibility for the invoicing and claims process but also for your own development, which means that you as an applicant want to step in with 100% commitment, great initiative with a focus on continuous improvement, especially now that we have the chance to change and improve our routines and working methods. The role involves both regular line work and active participation in various projects.

Main work tasks

The Energy Advisor's mission is to manage billing and claims and to support the business in order to achieve the business plan's set strategies and goals by:

  • Administering and invoicing based on SD orders
  • Administering claims management
  • Monthly reconciliations and annual reconciliations
  • Professionally addressing and supporting internal operations for training purposes.
  • Continuously come up with improvement initiatives and solutions to develop and streamline our working methods and participate in projects.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have:

  • At least a high school diploma. We consider it an advantage if you have post-secondary education in finance or accounting
  • Several years of work experience and with knowledge of the invoicing and/or claims process
  • System knowledge and experience with SAP
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

We are looking for someone who has a holistic approach and a good understanding of the business needs. You have knowledge of, and enjoy, a structured and solution-oriented approach and have good analytical skills. You are responsible and used to taking your own initiative. You are also good at collaborating with colleagues and other units as this is an important part of the job.

Terms of employment: The permanent position is 100% with placement at Vattenfall's office in Umeå starting as soon as possible.
