About the role


As a control engineer, you belong to a larger group of engineers spread across northern Sweden. You will work at customers' electrical power stations with, among other things, the following:

  • maintenance testing of relay protection
  • commissioning, configuration and testing of control systems
  • troubleshooting and relay conversions
  • work with remote controls and other station equipment
  • small design adjustments in connection with commissioning

We have about 170 engineers within the company spread throughout the country, which gives access to a very large competence base. We work actively with internal training to broaden and deepen the skills of our employees. With us, you get the opportunity to work with all existing control equipment, at all voltage levels, from 0.4kV to 400kV.



Requirements specification


Our way of working is characterized by freedom under responsibility. Safety is always in focus as we work in potentially dangerous environments.

We know that you will develop together with us but to succeed in the role you should have:

  • a post-secondary electrical power education or similar work experience in electrical power
  • e.g. operations engineer, operations engineer or commissioning test manager
  • knowledge of electrical power plants
  • knowledge of relay protection and relay protection configuration
  • good computer skills
  • B-driving license
  • fluent Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious with:

  • work experience from control facilities within 130-400 kV
  • experience of similar tasks
  • good knowledge of English

We are looking for you who are motivated by working with complex issues. As a person, you are also service-oriented and good at cooperating with people both internally and externally. You are trustworthy and actively seek new ways to develop.

To succeed in the role, you also need to be able to plan and prioritize your tasks independently.

Travel in the service with overnight stays occurs as a natural part of the work.
