About the thesis

• The degree work is carried out in the Operation Engineering group, which is part of the Maintenance and Technology department at Vattenfall Värme Sweden. Within the group, system optimization as well as technical investigations and operational follow-ups of various kinds are carried out.
• The background to the thesis is stricter environmental requirements, above all for antimony. In the purification process of antimony and other heavy metals, there is a risk of elevated values ​​if the plant does not function optimally.
• The goal/purpose of the degree project is to investigate whether an electronic tongue can be used to control the purification process of flue gas condensate during waste incineration.
• This assignment is for either 1 or 2 student(s).

Your profile

We are looking for you who are a student/students who want to work towards a fossil-free future and who will soon graduate from your academic studies. You are also someone who identifies with our principles: Active, Open, Positive and Safety.

• Education – in energy, environment or chemistry.
• Scope – 30 credits.
• The thesis can be written in Swedish or English.
