Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of approximately 430 people within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that supplies nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and implements projects and assignments and provides internal technical specialist services for all of Vattenfall's operations, Group staffs and stakeholders.

This involves activities such as project management and project support, analysis management and investigation, product development, nuclear safety and dam safety assignments. The focus of the Vattenfall Power Solutions business unit is to develop our capabilities in project management and selected key technical disciplines. We work actively with continuous improvement initiatives and development of our models, where our work and competence create great value for Vattenfall and its investments.

As an Executive Assistant at Vattenfall Power Solutions, you are offered an independent and varied job in a dynamic environment. Your primary duties will be to assist the BU Manager and senior management.

The role includes responsibility for planning and servicing, some project work and, to a lesser extent, organizing events and conferences.

Requirement specification


We are looking for you who have:

  • A good communication ability in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
  • Experience of administrative work in an assisting or coordinating role and it is meritorious if you have worked with assistant work at executive management level.
  • An education from university or college or other relevant post-secondary education.

Your personal qualities will weigh heavily. This is a role for you who is curious and thrives in an environment with a sometimes fast pace. You have a structured approach characterized by professionalism, responsibility and flexibility. You also need to be used to working independently.

To be successful in the role, you need to be perceptive and creative. Having a proactive approach is an advantage as the business is changing. The role involves a lot of contact with different people.
