Now Vattenfall Vattenkraft is looking for an experienced electrical designer, the position is located at one of our offices in, for example, Jokkmokk, Luleå, Umeå or Sundsvall. You will be part of the Power Station Technology department, our focus is sustainable development and management of Vattenfall's hydropower stations. Right now, we are around 15 employees with specialist knowledge in electricity production, hydropower and power station technology.
Here are some examples of your duties and responsibilities:
Recurring collaborations with colleagues, consultants, contractors and suppliers are part of the job. The work is varied and you are offered good opportunities to be involved and influence how we maintain and develop our facilities at a time when hydropower is a very important part of Sweden's total electricity mix. You will travel in the service and be met by magnificent hydropower facilities and knowledgeable colleagues all over the country.
Requirements specification
You have five to ten years of experience in electrical design for automation systems in a CAD-based environment. You are used to working with, for example, ELPROCAD, e-plan and/or elMaster. We are looking for you who are self-motivated as an electrical designer and have the ability to see the whole.
It is advantageous if you have worked with CAD for large-scale, industrial electrical installations and also held roles as coordinator or leading designer. If you have experience in the energy industry and hydropower, that is a plus.
You have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, or you have equivalent experience acquired in another way. Your way of working is characterized by initiative, responsibility, cooperation, order and order.
You express yourself clearly in speech and writing (both in Swedish and English) and have a versatile and good IT habit. B driving license is a requirement because traveling by car is part of the job.
