Vattenfall Vattenkraft is now looking for an experienced electrical designer for, for example, Norsjö, Storuman, Luleå, Umeå or Sundsvall. You will be part of the Power Station Technology department, our focus is sustainable development and management of Vattenfall's hydropower stations. Right now, we are about 20 employees with specialist knowledge in electricity generation, hydropower and power station technology.
Here are examples of your responsibilities:
Regular collaboration with colleagues, consultants, contractors and suppliers is part of the job. The work is varied and you are offered good opportunities to be involved in influencing how we maintain and develop our facilities at a time when hydropower is a very important part of Sweden's total electricity mix. You will be able to travel in the service and be met by magnificent hydropower plants and knowledgeable colleagues all over the country.
Requirement specification
You have solid experience of electrical design for automation plants in a CAD-based environment. You are used to working with, for example, ELPROCAD, e-plan and/or elMaster.
As an electrical designer, you are self-driven with the ability to see the big picture and you have a keen interest in the CAD tools available on the market and their advantages and disadvantages. You see a value in governing documents and standardized working methods, it is a plus if you have worked with issues in that area in your previous assignments.
It is an advantage if you have worked with CAD for large-scale, industrial electrical installations and also had roles such as coordinator or leading electrical designer. We would like you to have experience in the energy industry and hydropower.
You have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, or you have equivalent experience acquired in another way. Your way of working is characterized by proactivity, initiative, responsibility, cooperation, order and orderliness.You express yourself clearly in speech and writing (both in Swedish and English) and have a versatile and good IT habit. A B driving license is a requirement as travel by car is part of the work.

Norsjö, Storuman, Luleå, Umeå, Sundsvall or any other of Vattenfall Vattenkraft's locations in Norrbotten, Västerbotten or Västernorrland.
