About the role


As a portfolio manager, you work together with other portfolio managers / investment controllers to follow up, analyze, report status and propose measures in the Operational Investment Portfolio. All with the aim of ensuring that the projects have the forecasts that can deliver on agreed investment targets.

As a portfolio manager, you have a central role in interpreting and communicating the portfolio to the business. Both in terms of resource needs, skills and availability of funds. You are involved in and partly control the inflow to the Operational Portfolio based on available budget space and available resources.

In particular, we expect that in your role as portfolio manager you are interested in working with our business development regarding resource management and system use with associated working methods for the Operational Portfolio as well as having a keen interest in trend analysis and scenario description based on data and dialogue.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will work closely with the Program Managers of the different investment programs where the projects are located, as well as with the resourcing line managers. You will report to the Group Head and Head of Department.

The primary task of the experienced Portfolio Manager role is to:

  • Work on analyzing data from our investment activities (SAP/PPM/excel).
  • Continuously evaluate the risk value of the investment portfolio and translate risks into different scenarios with associated impact assessment.
  • Follow up on the progress of ongoing projects.
  • Follow up on incoming projects and have a dialog with the tactical portfolio.
  • Coordinate line managers and program managers in resource allocation.
  • Support in the further development of and requirements for our IT environment for portfolio management.


Requirements specification


Have a relevant university degree (at least 180 credits) in, for example, economics, industrial economics and IT, or other education or experience deemed equivalent.

  • have experience of portfolio management for investment projects in the built environment or equivalent
  • speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently and has very good knowledge of Excel
  • experience of working with SAP/PPM is an advantage.
  • is committed and passionate about finding creative solutions in areas such as project prioritization, system use and data analysis
  • solid experience in risk management, business development, process development is also highly advantageous.
