Forsmark nuclear power plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden and we produce one sixth of the electricity consumed in Sweden. Forsmarks Kraftgrupp is looking for you who want to take on a developing role as Group Manager Construction Maintenance Development!

As Group Manager, you will be part of the unit's management team and report directly to the unit manager. You represent the group in various forums and projects, which gives you many contact areas within Forsmark, Ringhals, the Vattenfall Group and with contractors. In the management team, we work closely together in an environment characterized by cooperation, openness and a common pursuit of continuous development.

The group has responsibility in several technical areas, such as construction maintenance, logistics, lifting equipment, water / plumbing and service, which includes, for example, decontamination, painting, storage management, transport, scaffolding and insulation.

Within these areas, the Development group focuses on:

  • Planning and driving both short and long term development
  • Ensuring technical content of the maintenance program
  • Reviewing plans and technical documentation
  • Interpreting and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, directives and group requirements
  • Working with maintenance plans, instructions, programs and spare parts needs.

About the role of Group Manager Construction Maintenance Development

In this role, you will lead a team of 14 dedicated and diverse employees with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. The work of the team is characterized by autonomy and a high level of personal responsibility.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for staff management by coaching, supporting and developing your team
  • Plan, prioritize and drive improvement work both within the group and at unit level
  • Work with the team to further develop tasks, routines and processes
  • Promote a positive working environment, create commitment and motivate to achieve common goals
  • Manage budget and financial issues and be responsible for reporting and follow-up.

Requirements

We would like to see that you have experience in the technical areas mentioned earlier and a secondary or post-secondary education. Experience of a leading role is a requirement.

As a person, you are committed, enterprising and driven by creating good conditions for both people and business. You have a genuine interest in leadership and enjoy driving and implementing improvements.
