About the role

We are now looking for you who want to take on a developing role as group manager for maintenance development at Forsmark!

The energy industry is facing major changes with increased electricity demand in Sweden and globally, which makes Forsmark Kraftgrupp a continued important electricity supplier for a long time to come. It also means that we are a secure employer that offers many career and development opportunities.

The Maintenance Technology unit is responsible for carrying out analyses, investigations, fault analyses and method development assignments that cut across several specialist areas. To create and develop effective routines for the NM department's activities in these areas. The unit consists of three groups; Maintenance Development, Spare Parts Management and Maintenance Projects

Each group consists of about 10 permanent employees with a wide age range, different skills and educational backgrounds. For the development group, we are now looking for a group manager who is interested in building and developing effective teams.

About the job

As group manager of the maintenance development group, you are responsible for developing working methods and routines in maintenance.

The group performs or assists in analyzes and investigations that cut across several disciplines with the aim of supporting other units in maintenance. The group also analyzes maintenance-related disruptions, unplanned production losses and work incidents. The group also reviews maintenance programs and maintenance instructions

The group has a coordinating responsibility within the maintenance department to:

  • Identify and prioritize plant needs through information gathering
  • Coordinate work for long-term operation and component durability under different scenarios
  • Collect data for indicators and their follow-up


Your tasks

  • Lead, plan and prioritize tasks within the group's area of responsibility
  • Maintain and develop skills, tasks, and processes together with the group
  • work for a good working environment, motivate and coach your colleagues to achieve common goals together
  • the position involves budget and personnel responsibilities

You report to the Head of Unit, are part of the management team for the assembly unit, and act as the group's, and when you feel comfortable also the unit's and department's, representative in various forums and projects. The work within the management team is characterized by collaboration in order for the unit to achieve set goals.

We would like you to have

  • an interest in developing both leadership and technical knowledge
  • experience in leadership
  • engineering knowledge/experience
  • good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • well versed in Office package


We see it as a merit if you have

  • college/university or equivalent work experience in the relevant field
  • experience in nuclear power or other process industry
