Vattenfall Eldistribution is in an exciting and strong growth phase. As a Group Manager, do you want to be involved in developing our business and our employees?

The Asset Surveillance department has a national responsibility for Vattenfall Eldistribution's detection capability in the security area of physical protection. This includes the operation and management of all security technology as well as full operational and staffing responsibility for our monitoring centers.

Do you want to lead a team working on the front line to secure our critical infrastructure? Do you have experience in managing both operations and staff and want to develop our security capability into one of the most efficient and reliable units in the industry?


You will report directly to the Executive Director of Asset Surveillance and be part of his/her management team. The role involves staff responsibility for a national team of twenty direct reports.

We are now looking for a Group Manager for our Asset Optimization, who will lead and motivate staff in their assignments and contribute to the business development of the area.

Duties:

  • Team management and development: Responsible for developing and planning a team of experienced and skilled employees.
  • Security Strategy and GAP Management: Develop and implement strategic lifecycle plans to ensure detection capability is maintained over time.
  • Work with financial targets: Manage short and long term budgets and forecasts for both OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Business development and process improvements: Contribute to necessary business development and work towards an improved process landscape.
  • Collaboration and reporting: Communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest safety standards.
  • Training and safety culture: Ensure that the team has the right conditions, training and knowledge to deal with laws and standards and follow best practices for a safe working environment.



Requirements


We are looking for you who is an experienced leader in safety, with proven experience of both operational and strategic leadership and has experience of working in a management team. You are a communicative and inspiring leader and have the ability to motivate and build strong teams and are clear in your communication. Furthermore, you need to be strategic and analytical and be able to see the big picture, make quick decisions in case of emergencies and work long-term on development issues. As a person, you are results-oriented and technically minded and have a good knowledge of security technology, legal requirements and standards, and ensure that the team achieves its goals.

Qualifications:

  • Many years of experience working in a senior position with personnel responsibility from the technical security industry.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams and operations, as well as the ability to report and interact in a large and complex organization.
  • Ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
