Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB, SKB, is working on one of Sweden's largest environmental protection projects. SKB's mission is to take care of all radioactive waste from the Swedish nuclear power plants. This must be done in a safe manner for both people and the environment.

Today, around 600 people are employed at SKB. We have extensive collaboration with experts and contractors outside the company.

SKB's head office is located in Arenastaden in Solna. We also have offices in Oskarshamn and Forsmark/Östhammar, where we have facilities and conduct various activities for the construction of a final repository for spent nuclear fuel.

Now we are looking for a clear and committed group manager for maintenance at the interim storage facility Clab, in Oskarshamn.

Here you will work

The DUC group is responsible for the maintenance of the interim storage facility for spent nuclear fuel, Clab, in the areas of mechanics and construction. The group currently consists of 11 employees. Examples of tasks in the group are preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and technical resources in projects. The technical area is large and includes everything from pumps and buildings to hydraulic systems and transport containers for spent nuclear fuel.

What you will do

  • Responsible for leading, driving and developing the group's daily and long-term work.
  • Lead and develop employees.
  • Personnel, budget and work environment responsibility.
  • Ensure that the required skills, resources and working methods are available.
  • Work with operational and strategic maintenance issues.


Requirements

We are looking for you who have experience of working in a leading position in maintenance, preferably in the industrial or energy sector. It is advantageous if you have experience of both operational and strategic tasks.

As a leader and manager, you are driven by developing staff and operations and by creating commitment and job satisfaction. You build effective teams and promote collaboration between different professional groups. As a manager, you are a role model and your actions set the standard for the way the team works. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability where good leadership skills are prioritized.


The position requires good knowledge of Swedish and a driving license B.
