Forsmark nuclear power plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden and we produce one sixth of the electricity consumed in Sweden. Nuclear electricity has a very low fossil footprint and is a stable and weather-independent power source. For Forsmarks Kraftgrupp, we are now looking for a committed group manager in mechanical maintenance!

You will lead a group of competent and versatile employees (mainly technicians and supervisors) with different experiences and perspectives. Our work is characterized by a high level of personal responsibility, autonomy, as well as collaboration. We work with mechanical operational maintenance at Forsmark's plants, together we plan and perform daily maintenance on all types of mechanical components.

We work with, for example:

  • Planning and implementation of preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance
  • Reporting and documentation of maintenance measures in the SAP maintenance system
  • Cross-functional improvement work where we contribute with knowledge and experience from the mechanical plant maintenance
  • Proactive work environment improvements in order to create even safer work environments.

As a team leader, you will be part of the unit's management team and report directly to the Head of Unit. You represent the group in various forums, which gives you broad contact areas within Forsmark, Ringhals, the Vattenfall Group and with contractors. In the management team, we work closely together in an environment characterized by cooperation, openness and a common pursuit of continuous development.

Your main responsibilities as Group Manager:

  • Responsibility for personnel management by coaching, supporting and developing your group
  • Planning, prioritizing and leading improvement work both within the group and at unit level
  • Resource assurance and competence development to carry out mechanical maintenance according to responsibilities
  • Internal team development to build on an inclusive and welcoming spirit
  • Budget and financial issues, responsibility for ongoing reporting and follow-up.

Requirements

We would like you to have experience in the technical areas mentioned (e.g. mechanics, maintenance, power generation, large-scale plants) as well as secondary or post-secondary education. Experience of working in a leadership role is an advantage.

You have a genuine interest in leadership and enjoy coaching in areas such as continuous improvement and safe working environments.

  • Strategic focus - you have an interest in organization, planning and long-term development.

You build an inclusive collaborative climate where dialogue and team spirit are in focus, which motivates the group to work towards common goals.

You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, as well as a broad IT habit. B-driving license is a requirement. In this recruitment, we emphasize leadership qualities and previous experience, rather than formal education.
