About the role

Are you a committed leader who wants to drive long-term improvements and development together with your team? Do you want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?

We are now looking for a manager for the Plant Strategy group at Forsmark Power Group.


As Group Manager Plant Strategy, you will lead a competent team of 10 employees with different educational backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. The team works across the four areas of responsibility - asset optimization, ageing management, environmental qualification and asset management. In this role, you have the opportunity to influence both the development of the plant, Forsmark's project portfolio and how investment resources are prioritized.

Your tasks

  • Lead, direct and coordinate the work within the group and support employees in their work.
  • Plan, budget and follow up the work both in the short and long term.
  • Ensure the competence of the group through development plans and individual support.
  • Responsible for the sites at strategic level.
  • Working with the unit management team to define long-term strategies and translate them into concrete plans at team level.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

  • Civil or university engineering degree or equivalent work experience in a complex technical business
  • Experience of being a manager and working strategically with long-term goals
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, as all internal documentation is in Swedish
  • Good knowledge of English, as it is used in customer contacts and international exchanges of experience.

Experience from nuclear operations is meritorious, but we also value experience from other complex technical environments with large assets to manage. Also, previous experience of working with ISO 55000 is meritorious.
