We are now looking for a Manager for the Systems Management Automation group at Forsmark Power Group.


About the job

As Group Manager for Systems Management Automation, you will lead a close-knit team of 13 experienced employees with different educational backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, as well as a deep technical knowledge of the plant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence both the development of the plant and how investment resources are prioritized.

Your tasks

  • Lead, direct and coordinate the work of the group and support employees in their work.
  • Plan, budget and follow up the work both in the short and long term.
  • Ensure the competence of the team through development plans and individual support.
  • Responsible for and further develop assigned automation systems.
  • Identify and correct deficiencies in the systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Together with the unit's management team, formulate long-term strategies and translate them into concrete plans at group level.

The Automation Systems Management group has the important responsibility of managing and developing Forsmark's automation systems. This work also includes identifying and prioritizing plant needs, commissioning projects to address the plant, and securing and developing Forsmark's long-term investment strategy.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

  • Civil or university engineering degree or equivalent work experience in a complex technical business
  • Experience of being a manager and working strategically with long-term goals
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, as all internal documentation is in Swedish
  • Good knowledge of English, as it is used in customer contacts and international exchanges of experience.

Competence in automation is an advantage. Knowledge of nuclear operations and plant knowledge from Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is also considered meritorious.
