About us: Our department consists of 20 dedicated employees distributed in three different locations from north to south. We have a broad and deep responsibility in the field of power quality, where we meet increasing external requirements and new types of customers in the electricity system. We handle power quality issues both operationally and proactively, with a focus on the customer. Through careful analysis and investigations, we identify deviations from functional requirements and develop innovative analysis methods. We manage meters and metering systems for power quality monitoring and follow up on disturbances. Contacts with business customers are an important part of our work. We also set limit values to improve or maintain power quality when, for example, dimensioning, rebuilding or network reinforcements.
Your tasks: You will work independently but also collaborate with other functions within the company and the Network Optimization management team. Together with your colleagues, you will drive the development of Vattenfall Eldistribution's work with power quality, so that we live up to the world's expectations for the electrification of Sweden. 90% of the transition takes place in Vattenfall's network, which gives you a great impact on Sweden's journey towards a fossil-free future.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the department's operations and ensure goal achievement.
- Collaborate closely with other departments in Asset Management, Customer and Marketing, Network Connections, Operations and Project Operations.
- Manage the finances, budget and forecasts of the department.
- Participate in the Network Optimization management team and contribute to strategic decisions.
Requirements specification
We are looking for you who are a committed and driven leader with experience in power plants, industrial/production operations or infrastructure. You have a relevant technical academic degree, preferably in electrical power, and at least 3 years of proven leadership experience. You have experience in developing new ways of working and competence development of employees as well as implementing challenging changes.
Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing is a requirement, as well as a B driving license.
