As Head of Department for Project Performance and Support (in everyday terms, the Project Office), you will lead, inspire and engage employees who manage, develop and support the implementation of the company's portfolio of investment projects. The purpose of the department is to create the best possible conditions for maintaining an efficient and sustainable quality in the planning and implementation of plant investments in the regional and local networks. The work is guided by the needs of the business and today there are 11 employees in the department.

Project Performance and support currently has assignments in:

  • Quality assurance and management of methods, working methods and tools in, among other things, program and project management, methodology for time and resource planning, risk management, structure for unit-wide steering documents and guidelines and a number of information management systems.
  • Leading, coordinating and quality assuring the Operational Unit's information management, business risk and quality assurance of SAP/PPM usage and training coordination.
  • Support and coordination including operational support to projects and programs in risk and uncertainty analysis, sharepoint, information security, time and resource planning and program and project management.

In addition to leading and being responsible for the department's deliverables, your main responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and representing the unit in unit-wide issues when necessary
  • Leading our continued development of ways of working for the existing and any additional areas of competence.
  • You will report to the Head of Portfolio and Program Management and be part of the unit's management team.


Requirements


We are looking for you who have

  • Academic education preferably as a civil engineer or economist or which we consider equivalent.
  • Have been a manager or leader and have experience of working in larger organizations.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral. Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • Experience in business projects, preferably from the construction or energy industry.

To succeed in the role, you are communicative and have the ability to capture the needs of the business and drive value-creating business development within the department's areas of responsibility. You need to be delivery-focused and solution-oriented and have the ability to adapt to a high pace of change with varying needs.

You are driven by developing both people and working methods and have the ability to inspire and create commitment among your employees. Furthermore, you have a good ability to build trust and collaborate with others to achieve results in a common goal. To succeed in the role, we believe that you are confident and credible in your leadership and you enjoy leading your employees through changes.
