About the role

Business area Metering delivers complete services in electricity metering, from meter value collection to installation and maintenance of meters and measuring systems. We are also accredited for the control of meters. Our customers are in industry, wind power and electricity networks. We are active throughout Sweden. We are now looking for a department manager for our department, Metering Service South. The department consists of about 20 employees mainly in Västra Götaland and Halland but also in southeastern Sweden. Read more about us on our website

The department works mainly with troubleshooting, maintenance and projects. As a department manager, you will lead the daily operations of a department consisting of project managers, maintenance managers and technicians. The geographical spread requires a leadership that clearly and visibly reaches all employees, most of whom work in the field. In addition to your own department, you are also part of the management team for the business area Measurement. We offer a challenging and varied job in an organization characterized by a strong culture of uniqueness, professionalism, creativity and collaboration.

You will also work to develop the department's employees and operations in a business environment where safety is the top priority. The work is varied and you are expected to have close contact with customers, colleagues and employees.

Your duties include:

• personnel responsibility and responsibility for quality, environment, work environment.
• responsibility for forecasting, budget, performance and business monitoring
• customer contacts and development of existing and new business
• be involved in procurement, tender and contract management
• actively participate in the management team and contribute with strategic work and jointly work for the development of the business and business

Requirements

We know that you will develop together with us. But we would like to see that you already have:

• college or university education in electrical power or similar
• a couple of years of experience in a similar role
• fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• basic knowledge of English in speech and writing
• good administrative skills and used to working process-oriented
• B driving license

As a person, you are relationship-building and have a good ability to create understanding and commitment with good communication. Business acumen is a keyword for you and you can lead in an organization with a clear responsibility for results. Your social skills and ability to create participation are highly prioritized.
