About the role

Do you want to be part of a newly started security protection department at Ringhals AB? Then you now have the chance to become our new Head of Unit. Together with the Head of Department, you will develop the department and shape its future.

About the role

With us, you will work in the areas of information security, physical security and personnel security. You will also be responsible for physical protection based on the Nuclear Activities Act.

As Head of Unit, you have personnel, competence and budget responsibility for the unit. Your team consists of just over ten employees who focus on the above-mentioned areas.

In the role of Unit Manager, you lead the business towards common goals and contribute to efficiency and flexibility that benefits both the department and the company. You are part of the department's management team where you actively participate in the overall and strategic work. Together with the management team, you ensure that your unit develops in the desired direction and that we have a good working climate for well-being and performance.

As Head of Unit, you will also have the role of Deputy Head of Security. This means that you will support the Head of Department/Head of Security Protection in leading, coordinating and controlling security protection activities.

The Head of Unit works with the Head of Department to develop and implement security protection strategies.


Requirements specification

We believe that you who apply have:

  • High school education, university education or other equivalent education.
  • Experience from managerial / leadership positions
  • Experience in security protection work, both strategic and operational.
  • Good knowledge of security protection legislation and regulations such as PMFS 2022:1
  • Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
  • B-driving license

Meriterande

  • Security protection manager training
  • Experience from working in nuclear operations
  • Leadership training

For the role, we are looking for you who have a strong commitment to security issues and who, through a proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach, drives systematic security protection work together with the head of department. With an unpretentious and coaching leadership, you create conditions for the development and performance of employees. To succeed in the role, you need to be a strong team player with good problem-solving skills. We would like to see that you have experience in leading change and that you have a good ability to see the big picture, to prioritize and to see basic problems and translate a direction into practical action. Finally, you have a strong ethical compass and the ability to make wise decisions under pressure as well as good communication skills.
