About the role

We are now looking for a dedicated HSSEQ Coordinator who wants to work strategically and operationally to secure the future of our subcontractors and contribute to our success!

As HSSEQ Coordinator, you will have a key role in driving and developing the management of subcontractors within Vattenfall Services. You will work on both strategic and operational issues to ensure that we meet our stakeholders' requirements, such as customer contracts and group requirements. Working closely with other support functions and business areas within Services, you will ensure that communication, training and compliance for our subcontractors and contracted employees are of the highest standard.

Your main tasks include:

• Strategic process responsibility for the management of subcontractors (UE) within Vattenfall Services.
• Ensuring compliance with customer contracts and group requirements, so that Services always meets the expectations of our stakeholders.
• Communication and training: In collaboration with other functions within Services, ensure that subcontractors are well informed and trained to comply with our guidelines and requirements.
• Administrative management of subcontractors and agency staff.
• Operational support to the business to streamline the management of subcontractors, with a focus on simplifying and improving our processes.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who are driven, solution-oriented and have a strong interest in quality, safety, health and the environment. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• Several years of industry experience in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001) and experience of working with these in business development.
• B-driving license is a requirement as travel to different sites occurs.
• System experience and good experience of administrative IT systems and tools, for example for follow-up and reporting.
• Previous experience of HSSEQ work, preferably in the energy sector or similar industries.
• Good understanding of regulations and requirements for subcontractors.
• Strong communication skills and experience of working in teams with many different stakeholders.

As a person, you need to be analytical and have the ability to look at the bigger picture and take a larger strategic perspective. You have good structure and plan your work so that nothing falls through the cracks. You have the ability to work both strategically and operationally, with a focus on long-term improvements.
