The role of Information Security Specialist
The role of Information Security Specialist is a key role in ensuring that Vattenfall Electricity Distribution meets the high internal and external regulatory requirements in information security that help protect our critical information systems and digital assets. In this role, you need to be comfortable making internal contacts as you work closely with different internal departments. You will, among other things, work right into the core of the business to follow up that the implementation of security measures takes place and has the expected effects, conduct risk analyses and ensure that our processes and systems are in line with current legislation. You also need to keep up to date through business intelligence and read writings and reports published by authorities that affect the field of information security. In the role, you should strive to always be at the forefront and preferably one step ahead in meeting requirements.
Requirements
We are looking for you who are curious, solution-oriented and want to contribute with your skills and experience to create a secure and sustainable IT and information environment. We believe that you have experience in information security and have worked with risk management or IT security before. You should have experience working with regulatory requirements and compliance. If you have certifications or training in information security, that's a plus, but we see your willingness to learn and develop as more important than certification and training.
It doesn't matter if you don't have a firm grasp of the latest in NIS2, NCCS or any of the other EU directives. But you are willing and interested in learning more in this area. You probably already have a good knowledge of information security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and experience in risk management and security assessments. Strong analytical skills and a structured approach are essential. In addition, you should have good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders on strategic, tactical and operational tasks. Good knowledge of Swedish and English both in speech and writing is a requirement.
