About the role
Group Internal Audit is an independent and objective function that evaluates, proposes and monitors improvements to the effectiveness of Vattenfall's risk management, internal controls and governance processes across the Group. Group Internal Audit conducts internal audits and investigations with the aim of improving and adding value to Vattenfall's operations. The department helps Vattenfall achieve its objectives by applying a systematic approach to evaluate and advise on improvements. Group Internal Audit reports observations and recommendations to the Executive Management, the Group Management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Your responsibilities:
Your main tasks as Internal Auditor will be to conduct internal audit assignments and investigations. The audit assignments are carried out in teams and as a leader or member of such teams you will be involved in all phases of the assignment, from planning to reporting the results to management. In audit engagements, you will risk assess and challenge existing working practices in the processes being audited. You will thus help identify needs for and propose improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes and the robustness of internal controls to help improve Vattenfall's operations.
In addition to the audit assignments, you will also be involved in investigations of incidents reported to the whistleblowing function.
As Group Internal Audit covers the entire Vattenfall Group, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into different business areas and very good opportunities for further learning and development.
You will report directly to the Director Internal Audit Nordic.

Further information
The position is based in Solna. As Group Internal Audit covers the entire Vattenfall Group, there is regular travel to Vattenfall's other locations.
