KSU, Kärnkraftsäkerhet och Utbildning AB, secures the competence of the Swedish nuclear power plants' personnel through both theoretical education and training in full-scale simulators. KSU operates under the collective name Training Service Provider both nationally and internationally. The company is developing and we see exciting growth to ensure competence for new and long-term nuclear power operations. Operations are conducted from our head office in Nyköping and from our training facilities located close to the nuclear power plants in Forsmark, Oskarshamn and Ringhals. In Forsmark we also have the Technology and Training Center, TTC, where we have a unique opportunity to conduct operational training. KSU, with about 180 employees, is part of the Vattenfall Group.

About the role
Do you want to contribute to safe and fossil-free nuclear power? Kärnkraftsäkerhet och Utbildning AB (KSU) is now looking for a Infrastructure Technician based in Nyköping.
Who are we at KSU? One of our most important tasks is to train the Swedish nuclear power plants' operating and maintenance personnel. We contribute to the safe and stable operation of nuclear power and together with our customers we create the training of the future. In this position, you will belong to the IT unit located in Nyköping
Duties
As an Infrastructure Technician, you are a key player for the IT unit at KSU. The IT department is responsible for the development and operation of IT infrastructure, digital training aids and online services.
Together with experienced colleagues with high competence in the field, you develop system solutions and are responsible for ensuring that commissioned equipment has a high availability and you follow the technology development in the field and propose improvements.
The role involves:
Much of the work can be done remotely, up to 2 or 3 days / week depending on the load and ongoing projects. Location is Nyköping - given the good opportunity for remote work, we see that you can have your place of residence at a suitable commuting distance, for example Norrköping, Linköping or southern or central parts of Stockholm.
The Nyköping office is located 3 min walk from the train station.
Requirements
We are looking for you who have experience of working with infrastructure for companies. You may have previously worked as an IT specialist/consultant or equivalent You have a broad knowledge of various IT systems (e.g. VMware, Microsoft Backoffice) and can perform advanced troubleshooting. We believe that you have several years of work experience and/or relevant education in this or a related field. You master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
Interest and knowledge of new technologies such as encryption solutions, authentication solutions, VR and AI as well as system knowledge are meritorious.
As a person, you are energetic and enjoy collaborating with others in your team while having the ability to work independently. You like that the road is not always completely marked out as this gives you the opportunity to be involved in building new solutions from scratch. You are committed to your work and enjoy broadening and developing your skills.
