About the role

Nuclear Solutions delivers IT to nuclear facilities within Vattenfall and is currently undergoing an exciting transformation and is in an expansive phase of modernization and establishment of a new data center. We have a strong focus on security and will be building a completely new environment during the year. The organization is an integral part of Vattenfall IT, which is an international internal supplier of IT within Vattenfall.

Our team consists of about 20 employees with various skills in IT infrastructure and we are located in Solna, Oskarshamn and Östhammar. We now need to strengthen the group with another technician who has experience in IT operations. You will be part of a team consisting of specialists and generalists and you will support in several different technical areas. We offer a varied work environment where you are partly on site and partly can work from home.

Main responsibilities

  • Operation, maintenance and monitoring of IT infrastructure
  • Ensuring that existing environments are developed and responsible for the design and implementation of solutions
  • Participate in transformation and change projects

Requirements

We believe that you who are looking for is a person who feels confident in their role and has experience in IT operations and has worked in large IT environments with both operation and development of IT infrastructure. We would like to see that in addition to your knowledge of data center operations, you also want to grow in one of the following areas:

  • Windows server
  • Linux
  • Network
  • Virtualization
  • Storage
  • Data hall
  • Automation

You should also master Swedish and English fluently in both speech and writing.


Strong focus will be placed on personal suitability and the ambition to develop in the field. You have a good ability to familiarize yourself with new technology and are good at troubleshooting of varying size and complexity. We would like you to be a confidence builder, both within your own group and towards other activities. You thrive on change and have a natural desire for continuous improvement. You have good collaboration skills and a humble approach to people around you. You enjoy working with others and also have good structure in your own work.
