IT/OT technician with experience from the process industry is sought for Vattenfall's site in Stenungsund! We are now looking for a driven and experienced IT/OT technician to strengthen our team for a new development phase. As a local IT/OT technician, you will play an important role in building our business and ensuring that all technical equipment works properly.

Your role as IT/OT technician

  • Management of IT/OT issues on site.
  • Operation and support of computers/networks incl. software and hardware.
  • Operation and support of PLC systems (Mitsubishi, Cactus, Beckhoff PLC systems)
  • Participate in testing of equipment and software.
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurements/upgrades
  • Assist in projects with troubleshooting, deployment and supplier contacts.
  • Maintain technical documentation of IT components in collaboration with the customer and supplier.
  • Qualifications to structurally manage your own projects and be curious and interested in technology.

As an IT/OT technician, you will work with the operation, support and management of IT/OT locally at Vattenfall's site in Stenungsund. The work includes technical maintenance work such as troubleshooting, control system installation, testing, new installation and auditing. Rebuilds are done both in-house and with contractors.

Together with the external IT group, you will also work on improvements for increased operational reliability and problem solving in the event of operational disruptions. We offer great scope for taking your own initiatives and the opportunity to participate in major projects at the plant.

As an IT/OT technician, you will have a varied position where you will learn new things and encounter new challenges. The position is a daytime position and call-outs/standby may occur when needed.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge and several years of experience with Microsoft Windows 10.
  • Good knowledge of PC hardware and printers.
  • Experience in providing user support in Windows environment and in larger networks.
  • Open to take on new challenges and changes.
  • B driving license.
  • Documented experience in programming Mitsubishi PLC systems.
  • Experience with Cactus and Beckhoff PLC systems.
  • Knowledge of local LAN and WiFi networks with MikroTik RouterOS v7 is meritorious.
  • Ability to structurally manage your own projects.
  • Curious and interested in technology.
