About us

About the job

As an IT security engineer for the nuclear licensees Ringhals AB and Forsmarkskraftgrupp AB, you will work with IT and cyber security in several different dimensions. Your main task is to ensure that the licensee has the right IT and cyber security protection through requirement setting, review and control of the group-wide IT supplier Vattenfall IT. You ensure that the IT landscape is correctly designed and the IT security work is carried out based on the regulatory requirements that the licensee is subject to, such as security protection legislation and radiation safety legislation. You will work preventively by monitoring the business environment and by following up on events that you translate into continuous requirements. Furthermore, you will work together with our IT supplier to improve the company's ability to see what is happening in the IT landscape in order to be able to take the right measures when needed. You will follow up on incidents and review event chains and look for other signs of cyber-related anomalies.

You will receive threat intelligence, assess the impact of potential vulnerabilities and communicate with the business on risks and risk mitigation measures. You identify and classify events and anomalies in the IT landscape, minimize risks and vulnerabilities through technical solutions or by promoting the entire organization's awareness, knowledge and ability to prevent cyber threats.
